We have had several mature Lakelands placed into their forever homes. We have truly been blessed to have had them here and, for me, after having them as buddies for more than three years, it is with mixed emotions that they move on. I do my best to review their new families and I'm very pleased with where these two have gone. They have had several reports and pictures sent back to me - it looks like they are really happy.
We continue to work on conditioning and grooming our show Lakelands. I learned a lot from my training time with Eric and Dawn Salas.
Our Lakeland, Diamond, whelped for the first time. It was rough. The first puppy, male, came breech. The second puppy was born C-section and she was not viable. Diamond is recovering well and the single puppy is doing great.
I have been working on the coat and conditioning of our Scottie, Dezzi. Hoping to have him ready for shows this summer. He is so much fun. He always comes up with new ways to make us smile.
Looking forward to going with Tanner to some shows in April.
John and I are well and keeping busy with the spring kennel and farm chores.
